Wedding Music Selection

Wedding Song Info

Prelude: This is 15-30 min of beautiful, pleasant music while your guests are seated.  I usually select music from my repertoire based on your style preferences; you can let me know if there are specific songs you really love and want included.

Seating of Family: Not all ceremonies have special music here, but it can be nice to set the atmosphere while your parents, grandparents, or honored guests are seated.  It can be fun to ask your parents or grandparents what their favorites are or what was played at their wedding!

Wedding Party Processional: Usually a beautiful song that can be played while the entire wedding party, including any flower-girls or ring-bearers process down the aisle.

Bride/Couple Processional: Traditionally this is for the bride walking in either alone or with her father.  Some couples may decide to walk in together, or even both partners escorted by their parents.  No matter how you choose to walk down the aisle, this is always a really special moment and deserves a meaningful and beautiful song.

Special Music During the Ceremony (Unity Candle, Sand Pouring Ceremony, etc):  If your ceremony includes something like this it can be nice to have music in the background.  Sometimes couples just choose to have a quiet reflective time with beautiful music.

Recessional: You are married!  Let the celebration begin! After your officiant formally introduces you to the guests, I will play a upbeat, happy song while you, your wedding party, and your family recesses back down the aisle.

Postlude Music: I play more upbeat music from my repertoire while guests file out.

This just outlines the parts of most weddings that require music.  Your wedding will be as unique as you are!  I am happy to work with you to select the best music to fit your specific ceremony.
